History

In 2003, Paul Ssali started a geophysical instrument rental business in a small mining town in Eastern Africa, which mainly served groundwater, mineral exploration and Civil engineering companies. The business grew over the years acquiring subsidiaries including WGMA Consulting and GEOPROJIX (www.geoprojix.com  ) that has grown into a medium league geophysical consulting and Equipment rental business in eastern and central Africa.

For the last 14 years, Paul has built his career from bottom-to-top from field technician and data processing roles to senior consulting responsibilities on several infrastructural development projects in Africa, Europe,USA and recently migrating to Australia to tap into the country’s booming infrastructure development and resources industry.

Paul holds a Masters in Geophysics from Curtin university, and specialises in Engineering / Environmental geophysics and Concrete Structural Non-destructive Testing (NDT).

Over the years, we nature and strengthened good business partnerships which has been (and is) the continuous flow of our equipment rental and data processing.

Today, geophysical site investigations seem to come along most engineering / civil construction project tenders. On many events I’ve experienced the vulnerability of a purely engineering company having to depend on a strange geophysical consultant, with absolutely no control of the process, costs, quality of work or interpretations.

Worse still, the sicker feeling of having to operate for the first time a piece of equipment hired from someone, who you also depend on for data processing, interpretations and report writing.
